Full Capacity Takeover of First Batch of New Energy Projects in Lower Jinsha River Integrated Wind-Solar-Hydro-Storage Base (Yunnan Side) Successfully Completed
Release time:2025-01-17

Recently, wit?the 100 MW photovoltaic power Generation generation project in Luomian, Kunming City, Yunnan Province was fully connected to the grid at full-capacity for power generation, CYPC?successfully?completed?the full-capacity takeover of the first batch of 23 new energy projects in the Lower Jinsha River Integrated Wind-Solar-Hydro-Storage Base (Yunnan side), with the?installed capacity exceeding 2,600 MW.

The first batch of new energy projects in the Lower Jinsha River Integrated Wind-Solar-Hydro-Storage Base (Yunnan side) are distributed in cities (prefectures) such as Zhaotong, Chuxiong, Kunming, and Qujing in Yunnan Province. After the?full-capacity?connection to the grid for power generation, the project is expected to generate 3.6 TWh of electricity annually, equivalent to saving 1.12 million tons of standard coal and reducing 2.84 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually. This will help realize the goals of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality?and contribute to the comprehensive green transformation of?economic and social development.

Since CYPC?took over the operation and maintenance work of the first photovoltaic power station in the Lower Jinsha River Integrated Wind-Solar-Hydro-Storage Base in September 2022,?it?has?put into action the concept of "combining construction with management for seamless handover", implementing?the cultural spirit of "excellence and responsibility" in daily work, and efficiently managing?the operation and maintenance work of the Lower Jinsha River Integrated Wind-Solar-Hydro-Storage Base with quality guaranteed, despite difficulties such as high altitude, low temperature, tight schedule,?and heavy tasks. At present, centralized control centers for new energy have been completed in Kunming and Chengdu for the Lower Jinsha River Integrated Wind-Solar-Hydro-Storage Base, and features such as patrol inspection by unmanned aerial vehicles and robotic dogs and fire hazard positioning by meteorological satellite have been launched on the intelligent operation platform for new energy one after another, promoting the digital and intelligent operation management of new energy stations for the Lower Jinsha River Integrated Wind-Solar-Hydro-Storage Base in full swing.

In the future, CYPC will further dedicate itself to the Lower Jinsha River Integrated Wind-Solar-Hydro-Storage Base, fully leverage the role of the centralized control centers in overall management, and promote the quality and efficiency improvement in operation and maintenance of the Lower Jinsha River Integrated Wind-Solar-Hydro-Storage Base in multiple forms?from all aspects, so as to contribute to?high-quality development of CTG's new energy business.
