At 19:00 p.m., the in-front-of water level of the Three Gorges dam was lowered to 144.98m, which reached the flood control level days in advance. So far, the Three Gorges Reservoir has successfully completed the drawdown tasks before the flood season in 2019, freeing up a flood control capacity of 22.15 billion cubic meters.
